My final thoughts on Power Rangers.

Well, The curtain has come down, The lights have been turned off, The Power Is Gone. Power Rangers has ended it's remarkable 17 season run. And what a finale for PR to go out with. Danger and Destiny was fantastic. And the way Venjix was defeated was kickass. The Cornith City Control Tower fell on him and crushed him like a bug. It was so awesome. We got decent closure for the characters. Flynn and his dad are building new computer networks for Cornith, Ziggy and Dr.K will open a new school for children, Scott will be the leader of Corinth's Eagle Squadron, And Summer, Dillon and Tenaya are roaming the world to rebuild it. Speaking of Venjix, Apparently he lives on in Scott's Morpher. Hey, You can't fully get rid of a computer virus. RPM has been a fun, fresh season. It's sad to see it end. It's sad to see Power Rangers end. But all good things must come to an end sometime. PR's had a good run, The show needs a rest. But don't you fret, Power Rangers will be back someday. Stronger then Before, Powered Up For More. But for now. RIP Power Rangers. 1993-2009. It's been fun. RPM, Get In Gear!

This is it, The end of Power Rangers.

Next Saturday, Power Rangers rides off into the sunset. After 17 years, And 700 episodes. Heck, Danger and Destiny Part 2 IS the 700 episode of Power Rangers. Judging from End Game. RPM Episode 30 which aired earlier today, We are in for an epic finale. Venjix's Hybrids vs Cornith, Dillon vs Kilobyte, The Grinders break into the Garage, Sounds like a good finale to me. Judd Lynn will send PR out the door in style. Then it's on to remastered MMPR. Fun. I will miss Power Rangers a lot. RIP Power Rangers. August 28th 1993-December 26th 2009.

Power Rangers. 1993-2009.

In 2 weeks from now, The final two episodes of Power Rangers will air on ABC Kids. The Rangers will defeat Venjix for good and everything will be fine again. It's weird. The show I grew up with is almost over. These past 17 years have gone so fast, Heck, I remember watching MMPR for the first time and falling in love with the series. When Lord Zedd broke into the Command Center, When the Command Center was blown up, The buildup for Zeo, The Disney takeover of production, Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder. The promotion and dissapointments of SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, And Jungle Fury. RPM being kickass. Judd Lynn's return to the series after a long hiatus from writing. It's been a fun 17 years. I will NEVER forget the impact Power Rangers has had on me. I respect Disney's decision to cancel the show. I really do, PR was becoming too expensive for Disney to produce. All good things must come to an end. RIP Power Rangers. 1993-2009. We will never forget you. May the Power Protect You, Always and Forever.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight has been cancelled.

Breaking News:Kamen Rider Dragon Knight has been cancelled. The second attempt at adapting Kamen Rider for the United States has failed. I'm not surprised. The show was a mess. Plain and simple. Nothing could save it. RIP Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. We hardly knew ye.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight-Why must you suck?

I'm a pretty big fan of the Kamen Rider series, So when I found out that Kamen Rider Ryuki was being adapted for an American Audience, I was estatic. Lest we remember Saban's failed attempt at adapting Kamen Rider Black RX. The hype for this adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki, Or shall we say, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. {Ryuki means Dragon Knight in English} was hot. Everyone in the fandom was looking forward to it. A Kamen Rider series for the USA done right, Right? Wrong. Dead Wrong. The first few episodes were downright awful. Bad acting, Bad pacing. Almost everything was bad. KRDK never got better. It only got worse. Which is a shame because a adaptation of Ryuki was looking so good after Saban's disaster. KRDK has it's positives, But they are often outweighed by the negatives. If anyone who's reading this wants to adapt a Kamen Rider series in the future, Make sure you do your homework and double check it. Because the writers of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight sure didn't.

Power Rangers RPM, Get In Gear!

Wow, What a season Power Rangers RPM has been. It's been totally different from previous PR seasons. And that's a good thing. I always enjoy a little trend breaking now and then. Now, for those of you who've never seen RPM. It's a post-apocalyptic world. Where a sentient computer virus known as Venjix, Has pretty much destroyed humanity. {Terminator anyone?} And the last stragglers have to go to this protective domed city known as Cornith to survive. Who can protect Cornith from Venjix's forces?.........You guessed it, The Power Rangers. Scott, Summer, Dillon, Flynn, Ziggy, And Gem and Gemma. Including their allies, Doctor K, Colonel Truman, And everyone else. The rest of the Venjix villians include, Generals Shifter and Crunch, Tenaya 7, The Grinders, And Venjix's attack bots. The character development is great, the acting is great, Everything about RPM is great. Now, Every season of Power Rangers has had some horrible episodes. RPM is no exception to that rule. The bad episodes of RPM include, Ranger Yellow 1&2, Blitz, Three's A Crowd, The Dome Dolls and various others. But, The amount of good episodes outweigh the bad ones. RPM had some behind-the-scenes drama involving former Executive Producer Eddie Guzelian and the Disney execs. Eddie was going overbudget and he was missing his deadlines for script submissions. Eddie was fired after episode 18, And he was replaced by Judd Lynn. Judd worked on PR from MMPR-Time Force. As a Production Manager, Head Writer, And Co-Producer. So, Judd is someone who knows how PR works and knows the lay of the land. Eddie didn't. Which cost him his job. Eddie fired longtime PR writer Jackie Merchand. Bad move. Judd's half feels much more like true Power Rangers moreso then Eddie's did. Due to Judd's level of experience with the series. Also, RPM is the final season of Power Rangers. Disney is remastering MMPR to replace a adaptation of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. RPM is a great way to end the series. And Judd was the right person to end PR IMO. The final four episodes air December 19th, If Venjix Won and End Game. The big finale airs December 26th, Danger and Destiny 1&2. After that Power Rangers as an ongoing series will be over. Sad isn't it. But PR needs a nice, long, rest. It's been 17 years. It needs a break. I'll be back tomorrow with a blog talking about Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Peace!

Tensou Sentai Goseiger. The 2010 Super Sentai Series.

Samurai Sentai Shinkenger is winding down, Seems like yesterday I heard Psychic Lover chanting Chan Chan Bara, ChanBara, ChanBaraBara, ChanBara, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Appare! The new Sentai Series is called, Tensou Sentai Goseiger. Or, Heavenly Clothing Squadron Goseiger. This team is using a card motif, And the storyline goes a little something like this, In A Dimension that is Invisible to Human Eyes, Called "GoseiWorld", There remains beings called "GoseiAngels", They have super powers that humans do not have, Called "GoseiPower", Unknown to Humans, They use their powers to protect the Earth and mankind from dangerous elements, To Defend the Earth from the invading enemies, The Gosei Angels use a passage called "HeavenTower" in order to travel between the Surface and GoseiWorld. However, a group of enemy invaders called "WarStar" is invading the Earth and destroying the way of HeavenTower, With the passage blocked, The GoseiAngels are unable to reach the surface, With no GoseiAngels, The Earth will be destroyed by these invaders. But this time, 5 young and immature GoseiAngels, While in disguise, Were visiting the Human World before the invasion, Rise up against the demons to protect the Earth. They are the Heroes, Tensou Sentai Goseiger. Whew!, Now that's a storyline. I hope you can see the image of the suits. The Suits look totally retro. And they look nice IMO. Even though they look like Bioman and Changeman had a kid. I'm looking forward to Goseiger. Shoko Nakagawa is signing the OP theme. And Go-On Gold is singing the ED theme. It's so nice to have a girl singing a Sentai OP for a change. Mind you we had a woman singing the Timeranger OP back in 2001. But it's still nice. And I will give the ED a chance. I am a fan of Go-On Gold so there's that. I hope Tensou Sentai Goseiger can be good. We'll find out on February 14th. When Goseiger premieres. Now, I'm off to watch the episodes of Shinkenger I've missed. Peace!

An Introduction

Hey there, I'm Adam Stabelli. Human being, Earthling, Whatever category you want to place me in. Anyways, I am in 12th Grade, Going to Graduate, And begin the hellish reality of Community College. The girls are hotter, The Curriculum is tougher. But I think I can manage. Now that the gushy stuff is out of the way, I will tell you about my interests. My interests include, Power Rangers, Sentai & Tokusatsu. What is Tokusastu you ask? It's the Japanese art of special effects. Basically, People dressing up in Spandex beating the crap out of each other. Oh, And there's some giant robot action as well. Some of my favorite Toku series are, Kamen Rider, Sentai, Rescue Fire, And Ultraman. But I'll get into those later down the line. This post is just an introduction, Hope you liked it. Power Down!
